SPIRULINA FACE MASK with OLIVE OIL
Spirulina is effective in treating dark circles, dry eye symptoms, detoxifies skin, slows down aging and wrinkles (source 1), plus a study showed that spirulina contains antibacterial activity against cutibacterium acnes or Propionibacterium acnes which is a bacterium that is linked to the skin condition of acne. Honey is known for its wound healing properties but its effects on acne are not yet clear. Manuka honey has been scientifically recognised for its anti-microbial and wound healing properties, but there is a plethora of studies that show that honeys from all over the world have antimicrobial activity against skin relevant microbes and can promote the immune system of the skin (source 2).
