Are you a confused and feel frustrated when making poached eggs? You have tried to swirl, preparing one egg at a time, making sure they go in the middle of the swirl and it just seems too much of an effort? But you love love love poached eggs? Prep Time: 1 min - Cooking Time: 4 mins - Servings: 1



  • 2 eggs

  • water for a pan

  • 1 tbsp vinegar


  1. Get your pan with water, a small container, your eggs, and a teaspoon of vinegar ready.

  2. Bring the water to boil and add a little bit of vinegar or you can also add a splash of lemon juice or anything else that is acidic as it prevents the egg whites to become feathery towards the edges.

  3. One by one crack the eggs in the container and pour them straight into your pan and yes, no swirls and you can add more than one. Just be careful when transferring them. Choose to put your eggs on two different sides of the pan. 

  4. Give them a few seconds or like a minute and a half depending on how well done or runny you want them. Transfer them to a kitchen towel which will absorb all the liquid.

  5. Enjoy them on a toast with avocado, or veggies or anything else you like.
