Folic Acid Rich Green Salad | Folic Acid Foods for Pregnancy

This green salad recipe that is rich in folic acid is consumed weekly in my house as it is delicious and easy to make...and you should definitely try this salad's dressing with mustard, yogurt, and olive oil. It is incredible!


Servings: 2 - Prep Time: 15 mins



Salad -

  • Handful of Endives, washed and sliced

  • Handful of Iceberg lettuce, washed and sliced

  • Handful of Rockets, washed

  • Handful of Spinach, washed and cut

  • 1 or 2 slices of smoked salmon, cut in cubes

  • 1 avocado, pitted and sliced

  • Handful of dried / toasted bread pieces

  • Your desire amount of grated parmesan (optional)

Dressing -

  • 2 tbsp of yogurt

  • 2 tbsp of mustard

  • 2 tbsp of olive oil


  1. In a big salad bowl, add all the salad ingredients but grated parmesan and mix slightly.

  2. In a small dish, add all the dressing ingredients and mix until it becomes homogenous and yellow.

  3. Add the dressing to the salad and mix well.

  4. Top the salad with parmesan.

  5. Enjoy!
