This carrot & celery soup with Turmeric is so simple to make and at the same time soooo delicious!


Servings: 2 - Prep Time: 10 mins - Cooking Time: 20 mins



  • 1 medium onion, diced

  • 1 garlic, halved

  • 3 celery stalks, chopped

  • 3 medium carrots or 3 big carrots, roughly chopped

  • 30ml coconut oil or coconut cream

  • 1tbsp vegetable stock powder

  • 1tsp turmeric

  • 1tsp smoked paprika

  • 700ml water or enough to cover all the ingredients

  • salt and pepper

  • A handful of seeds and nuts


  1. In a pan warm the coconut oil or coconut cream.

  2. As soon as it gets warm, add the diced onions and the garlic and sauté for 2 minutes until soft.

  3. Then add the rest of the ingredients and the spices except for seeds and nuts.

  4. let the ingredients cook in the spices for a minute or two and then add the water.

  5. Leave to cook for 20-25minutes or until the carrots are soft.

  6. When the soup is ready, pour it in a blender and blend until well combined and smooth.

  7. Enjoy with sunflower seeds and walnuts. You can even add coconut yogurt if you like.
