HOW TO TREAT GOUT NATURALLY | Foods to avoid with gout

In this video, I will share some tips on how you can treat gout.

 

Gout is one type of arthritis and usually occurs when Uric Acid levels are elevated. When that happens, uric acid crystals get in the joints, most commonly in your big toe, causing irritation and inflammation. When that happens, individuals tend to see lamps created on their bodies which are not only unhealthy but also quite uncomfortable, painful and annoying. If you think, this is what you have, it is advisable to speak to your doctor but also there are things you can do in order to prevent gout in the first place or heal gout naturally.

 

But before we do, comment with a yes or a no if you know someone that has gout or if you have gout, so i can get a feel of who is watching.

 

Foods to Avoid with Gout

With gout there are some really big no-no's when it comes to certain foods and drinks and those are sugar, alcohol, grains and processed meat and processed foods overall. These type of foods should be avoided in general as they cause inflammation but especially for people that have elevated Uric Acid these should be eliminated. These foods contain purines which are chemicals produced during metabolising process and are not properly metabolised by people with gout.

 

Gout Treatment Promoters

On the other hand, there are foods that promote natural healing of gout by decreasing the Uric Acid level in the body and these are an increase in consumption of tart or black cherries and celery which you can consume in juice form such as organic, pure tart cherry juice and/or celery juice. I would also recommend drinking nettle tea which has anti-inflammatory effects, soothing the swelling joints and the excruciating pain caused by gout as it increases the excretion of uric acid from the kidney.

 

A lot of doctors also recommend short burst trainings and weight trainings which can relieve gout from your life. Of course exercise should be part of our life no matter what as there are lots and lots of physical and mental benefits to it.
