Spirulina Pancakes



Prep Time: 5 mins - Cooking Time: 6mins - Servings: 7-10 pancakes



Ingredients:

  • ½ cup of oat flour or oats that will be turned into flour with a blender.

  • 1 tsp of baking soda

  • 1 heaped tsp of spirulina powder

  • 1 egg

  • 2.5 tbsp of yogurt, I am using sheep yogurt

  • 1 tbsp of honey

  • A bit of coconut or olive oil for the pan.


Directions:

  1. Blend the oats, spirulina and baking soda and create a flour like consistency.

  2. In a bowl mix the egg with the yogurt.

  3. Transfer to this bowl your flour and mix well.

  4. Add your tbsp of honey and give this another stir.

  5. Add a tbsp of vegetable oil in a pan on medium heat.

  6. Transfer between 1 to 1.5 tbsp of batter to your pan and cook on both sides for approximately 30 seconds or a minute until each side turns brownish.

  7. Place one pancake on top of the other and top them with your favourite ingredients and enjoy.
