ACAI BERRY SMOOTHIE BOWL [VIDEO]

Prep Notes:

This is a great great way to start your day, as this smoothie is packed with an amazing amount of vitamins and essential nutrients for beauty and longevity such as vitamins A, B, C, K, omega fatty acids, iron, copper, magnesium just to name a few.

Prep Time: 5 minutes - Servings: 2



Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups of unsweetened coconut milk

  • 1/2 cup of coconut water

  • 1 tbsp of acai berry powder

  • 1/2 tbsp of cinnamon

  • 2 tbsp chia seeds

  • 1 vanilla pod

  • 1 frozen banana

  • 2 cups of mixed frozen berries


Directions

  1. Cut the vanilla pod in half and scrape the content.

  2. In a blender, add all the ingredients and blend for approximately 2 to 3 minutes until the content is well combined. 

  3. Serve with your favourite toppings. I topped mine with coconut flakes, goji berries, pumpkin seeds, pistachios and cherries.

  4. You can also pre-make this and store the smoothie in an airtight container.  



Notes

Sweetness: You can always add additional sweetness such as maple syrup or agave in order to sweetness this more.
